Anybody need a belt???

Why do people wear pants without belts. I mean it is obvious they could use a belt, or is the mere fact that the shoes are supporting the pants reason enough. Example 1. Man carrying groceries home with the kids. He has bags in one hand, the kids in the other, and half way across the street he realizes that he needs to pull his pants up. Wouldn't the belt have helped. It has me just baffled that people by pants five times the size, and wow they fall down to their ankles.

I'm flipping the channels and see the part of a movie (don't know the name or the actors names, but woman dies, sister leaves the kids with the party girl sister instead of the responsible sister, she falls for a Lutherian minister, etc.), one of the kids, a rebellous teenager, is having a party at the apartment and party girl sister needs to get them to leave, so she calls her sister who tells her to get the Indian lady in the apartment next door, who grabs a baseball bat and chases out the bad dude boyfriend who has pants that hang below his buns (thus to connect to your post), yelling (and I love this) "Get out you no pants mothers diaper boy!"
