Pummeled!

On Monday I went to go play tennis with my Uncle Phil. Now he has played a lot of tennis in his day, and is 20 years older than I am, I felt I could be a bit of a factor. By no means was I going to win. That being said I thought I had a chance. Well as we played I learned, i had alot to learn. One key play is when he hit a backhand from the his far left side with smash-like force to the far corner on my left side as I am in my right corner. Zero chance to get that. Even speedy Gonzales had no chance on that. I lost the first set 6-1 and the second set 6-0. That is what I like to call a toushe whooping. I learned alot about my game. So that was cool. We have more matches scheduled, so we'll see how that goes.

Happy Watermelon day! I expect to see you wolfing down some juicy watermelon as we speak. I have heard, and I am not sure how this will work, but adding salt to water melon makes it juicier. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Sounds like it may be something to try. You let me know how that goes. Well It is August 3. Three day into the greatest month of the year. Where has it all gone. Summer is just about out the door. We have done so much, yet have lots to do. We have been to family reunions, festivals, the zoo, ballgames, biking, some rest. August!!! A month long Birthday celebration. (Aug1st)

It's my month long celebration of my birthday. So I am going to do something a bit unique. Give you the month of August day by day. I may miss a day or two, but will see how it goes. Birthdays, this day in history. Holidays you may never have know about. I think it will be fun. Don't worry, I blog about things I am doing as well. So here goes. August was named after Augustus Cesar for taking down the Egyptians. So to give him a month that was equal to Julius Cesar(July) with the same amount of days they gave august 31.
The flower for the month is the Gladiolus(splendid beauty)
The gemstone is the Peridot, Jade.
August is golf month, catfish month, water quality month, eye exam month.
The first week of august is breast feeding week and clown week.

Numero 50.

Well we had to save something somewhat monumental for post 50. As I have been riding I have set some goals for myself. remember back in may when I started it took me 30 minutes to get to work and about 24 to get home. I said if i could get those down to 25 minutes to and 20 home I would be thrilled. Well I have crushed those marks. yesterdays ride home was 18 minutes. That is cruising at a 3:40 clip per mile. The Italian Stallion has picked it up. Now If I could figure out how to time those darn stop lights, will really be cooking.

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Well Barroid Bonds is in town and he has brought his cream with him. I don't think we should even let him see the ball. Maybe throw at him. Nobody will charge the mound anyway. His teammates don't even like him. If he gets the record, do it somewhere else, Barroid. You are not welcome to do it in the town that Aaron built.

Some time coming

Well it's been awhile, but we went to a ballgame in Minnesota to see the Brewers stomp on the twins. Visiting the glad bag dome was an intersting experience. The staduim was buit for football. So lets play ball in there. It gets real loud in there to. Real hard to make out what there saying on the speakers. We won the game 5-2. Not real eventful. Watching Prince in batting practice was great. He launched some magestic shots way back in the second deck in the outfield. Here are some photos of our day.
